Who can join?

AAUW welcomes both individual members, and college/university memberships.

You do not have to teach at a college or university - only have a degree from one. 

Individual Memberships:  Open to people of any gender who hold an associate degree or equivalent, baccalaureate, or higher degree Students working towards a qualifying degree may become student affiliates at reduced rates.

College/University Memberships: Open to educational institutions that offer recognized associates, baccalaureate, or higher degrees and that have full regional accreditation or professional association approval.

AAUW values and seeks a diverse membership. There shall be no barriers to full participation in this organization on the basis of gender, race, creed, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or class.

Download Membership Application here     Dues  of $81 ($49 association, $20 state, and $12 local) will be collected June - December of each year.  From January - May, dues will be 1/2 price.
