Notice of Scholarship
AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF UNIVERSITY WOMEN
COBB COUNTY BRANCH
(AAUW MISSION: TO PROMOTE EQUITY FOR WOMEN AND GIRLS THROUGH, EDUCATION AND SELF-DEVELOPMENT OVER THE LIFE SPAN, AND POSITIVE SOCIETAL CHANGE)
AWARD
a minimum of $750 scholarship will be awarded to recipients selected by AAUW Scholarship Committee.
Scholarship money to be spent on educational expenses.
REQUIREMENTS
• female applicants only
• currently enrolled in Kennesaw State University, Chattahoochee Technical College, Southern Polytechnic State University, or Life University in a degree or certificate program
• successful completion of at least one semester or two quarters
• 3.0 GPA ( B average) minimum
• Timely and satisfactory submission of entire application packet
DEADLINE
Application packets for scholarship must be received by AAUW Cobb County Scholarship
Chair
NO LATER THAN November 5, 2011. Scholarship funds will be available in late December 2011.
