NOTICE OF SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY
AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF UNIVERSITY
WOMEN COBB COUNTY BRANCH
(AAUW MISSION: TO PROMOTE EQUITY FOR WOMEN, EDUCATION AND SELF-DEVELOPMENT OVER THE LIFE SPAN, AND POSITIVE SOCIETAL CHANGE)
AWARD $ 750 scholarship will be awarded to recipients selected by AAUW Scholarship Committee.
Scholarship money to be spent on educational expenses.
REQUIREMENTS
· female applicants only
· currently enrolled in Chattahoochee Tech, North Metro Tech, Southern Polytechnic State University, or Kennesaw State University in a degree or certificate program
· successful completion of at least one semester or two quarters
· 3.0 GPA ( B average) minimum
· Timely and satisfactory submission of entire application packet
DEADLINE
Application packets for scholarship must be received by AAUW Cobb County Branch
NO LATER THAN OCTOBER 26, 2007. Scholarship funds will be available in late December
2007.
